Take Part in Raising Awareness
When October became Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it was intended to educate people about the disease and also recognize those who are currently affected.
In 2022, millions of women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite those numbers, it is important to acknowledge that the majority of women survive and win the fight against this disease. Today, there are millions of breast cancer survivors around the world. We can help create a world full of survivors by ensuring women win every time by raising awareness.
The good news is that death from breast cancer has been on the decline, and this is due in part to the tireless efforts of multiple foundations, organizations, and individuals who have made it their mission to educate women. Increased awareness among women and more efforts to detect cancer early has made a tremendous difference. It has brought about better treatment options, giving those with diagnoses a better prognosis for survival.
Women and men alike must educate themselves on the resources available to them in their community regarding cancer screenings and other preventative measures they can and should be taking.
A Presentation With A Purpose
Taking a small part in raising awareness, Prezlab created a presentation that you can share and remind people of the importance of early testing, and that there is no better time than the present.
Download the free PowerPoint slides and share information with your loved ones and customize it with advice on how to prevent or detect it early.
