The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) positions Dubai as a global hub for innovation through its annual Global 50 Report, highlighting 50 opportunity areas shaping the future. This case study shows how DFF’s partnership with Prezlab applied visuals, storytelling, and tailored workflows to transform the report.
The Global 50 Report showcases Dubai’s leadership in global foresight, inspiring collaboration among policymakers, innovators, and thought leaders. To expand their design capacity, they collaborated with Prezlab to develop a report with elevated design to deliver the DFF’s unique insights with impact and clarity.
The report incorporated AI-generated imagery to translate visionary, abstract concepts and bring them closer to reality. The use of custom illustrations also helped simplify data, making it accessible for a wide readership.
The team developed a scalable workflow to ensure consistent quality across multiple design layers. Using automated linking in InDesign reduced complexity, saved time, and enabled smoother collaboration. This modular design system will streamline future editions and simplify revision cycles.
Through localized Arabic design, DFF delivered a seamless, bilingual report that strengthened regional and global credibility, carried authority in English and Arabic and ensured insights were communicated with consistency.
The 2025 Global 50 Report is a strategic tool of influence that amplifies the DFF’s vision. By bringing together bold imagery, thoughtful localization, and a scalable design framework, the collaboration reinforced the DFF’s ambitious and visionary outlook.
